On a sunny Saturday 23rd June 2018 Pearly Grey hosted their ninth annual Ingane Yami Golf Tournament at the Golf Costa Adeje on the south coast of Tenerife. Organised by the team at Pearly Grey Ocean Club we returned for the sixth consecutive year to this fabulous golf course on the south coast of Tenerife.
This year we reverted to the Texas Scramble format, a popular team event and always a great choice for charity competitions.
It was a great day for golf. The morning started off a little overcast providing ideal conditions, but it wasn’t long before the sun broke through and by the tee off time 09:30 the sun was breaking through and the temperatures steadily started to climb. A light breeze helped to keep the players cool, aided by a few cans of ice cold beer.
Each year we have the support of the local golfing societies who always bolster our numbers and ensure that the event has a good turnout.
Pearly Grey and Ingane Yami would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to all the players who turned up to play and help make this event one of the best on the Tenerife golfing calendar. We would also like to thank Michael Setch for your assistance behind the scenes in the build up to the tournament.
This event would not be possible without our sponsors, many of you have been with us since our first tournament back in 2010 and your support is greatly appreciated. As always, we welcomed some new sponsors to the event and we hope you will be back with us next year for our 10th anniversary. Although the final figures are not in yet we estimate that once again we have raised over €20,000 for our Ingane Yami Charity.
