Ingane Yami Golf Day 2015

INGANE YAMI GOLF TOURNAMENT SATURDAY 4^TH JULY 2015

This year marks the sixth annual Ingane Yami Golf Tournament here in Tenerife and the third consecutive year we have hosted it at Costa Adeje Golf Course.  Organised by the staff at Pearly Grey Ocean Club with the help of resident golfer Stephen Moore.  Our aim is to provide a memorable and enjoyable day for the golfers and raise awareness and funds for Ingane Yami Children’s Village.
Our event is now firmly established on the Tenerife golfing circuit and once again we will be welcoming players from here in Tenerife, the UK and South Africa.

The Charity

Ingane Yami is a non profit organisation whose purpose is to provide a stable family environment for orphaned children in KwaZulu Natal province, South Africa.
Pearly Grey Ocean Club have been active partners with the charity since 2009 and in that time we have raised in excess of €80,000

Village Update

• Community Centre completed and operational.
• Five homes built with three house mothers caring for 10 children.
• Five additional homes already in the planning.
• Resource Centre built and functioning as a school and admin offices.
• Sustainability initiative to see a self sufficient water supply introduced.

Entry fee
€70 per player (includes green fees, buggy & lunch)

Shotgun start, 4 ball alliance
(Specific rules may be added or amended on the day)

The details
Date:  Saturday 4^th July 2015
Venue: Costa Adeje Golf Course, Adeje, Tenerife.
Times: Tee off time 09.30am (you need to be at the course 30-45 minutes before)

The prize giving event
The prize giving buffet dinner will take place at the golf course outside terrace bar once the tournament has finished.

  

Media coverage

Local radio station OasisFM will be providing a live broadcast including interviews with the organisers and players.
Canarian Weekly newspaper will be promoting the golf day in the weeks leading up to the event and will also provide a post event feature article in their weekly publication.
