Ingane Yami Golf Day 2015

_PDL2356The sixth annual Ingane Yami Golf Tournament was held on Saturday 4th July at Golf Costa Adeje in Tenerife.

Organised by the staff at Pearly Grey Ocean Club, this prestigious event is now established as a firm favourite on the Tenerife golfing calendar.

This year we teamed up with our media partners OasisFM and Canarian Weekly to ensure that the tournament received the maximum exposure and gave more players and sponsors the opportunity to participate.  Through this collaboration we achieved more than we expected.

We had a record number of players who registered and on the day 27 teams totalling 108 players competed in the tournament.  This would not have been possible without the help of Steve Moore and Mike Setch who each year provide us with players from their golf societies.

Pearly Grey and Ingane Yami would like to extend our thanks to all the players who turned up to play in what was a very successful and enjoyable day, without you guys this event would not be possible.

What can we say about our sponsors other than fantastic?  Many of you have been with us since the beginning and it was also great to welcome so many new sponsors, we hope you all enjoyed it and we would love to see you all back here next year.  With your help we have broken last year’s record and although the final total will not be known until Wednesday this week we have raised over €18,000.00 which equates to R247,000 South African Rand.

Special thanks to our Gold sponsors ‘Dorada’ and official Pepsi distributor ‘Embotelladora Canarias’ and to Silver sponsors ‘Silverpoint’.  We would also like to thank all our Bronze sponsors, each year you amaze us with your support (see below).  In total we had 40 sponsors this year, beating last year’s total of 31.
