Romería Barquera en Arona

Our Resort Maintenance manager Andres is taking his annual holiday here in Sunny Tenerife and what better than to join in the local festivals Romería Barquera en Arona

The best part of this event is the barquera pilgrimage, now in its third year as one of the unique festivals in the district of Arona. Hundreds of locals march with their handmade boats decked and fully dressed in white, a fantastic day which ends with a large paella made by the fishermen/women.
Andres had a brilliant day and wishes to share it with you all.
