On Saturday 23rd June 2018 Pearly Grey Ocean Club will be hosting our ninth annual charity golf tournament in aid of Ingane Yami Childrens Village.
The tournament will once again be held at the prestigious Golf Costa Adeje in the south of Tenerife.
We held our first tournament back in 2010 and since then it has grown in popularity and status, becoming firmly established as one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the annual Tenerife golfing calendar.
This year we welcome new promotional partners PowerOn FM and Island Connections.
PowerOn FM will broadcasting live from the golf course with updates and interviews throughout the tournament.
The format of the golf day will be as follows (times are provisional);
0830 to 0920 – Welcome by Pearly Grey staff, players registration and starting hole allocation.
0920 to 0930 – All players to make their way to allocated starting hole.
0930 to 1400 – Golf tournament should take approximately 4 hours to 4½ hours.
1400 to 1415 – All players should be finished and arriving back at the clubhouse.
1400 to 1445 – Sit down buffet lunch for all players as they arrive at the clubhouse.
1430 to 1600 – Prize giving, raffles, auctions and thankyou speech.
This year’s competition format will be a 4 ball Texas Scramble with a shotgun start at 0930.
Local rules and scoring apply (all players will be provided with a copy of the rules at player registration).
Refreshments will be available throughout the duration of the tournament with a Pearly Grey refreshment stand located near hole 9. In addition, the marshals will be providing a mobile buggy service to keep the players fed and watered (all FREE of charge).
A FREE hospitality tent will also be available with a good selection of drinks after the tournament has finished.
