Don’t forget to download Tenerife maps before leaving.
As you reach Garachico notice its peace and quiet. It is a small harbour town usually called as one of the best kept secrets and a runaway from tourists. It only takes 20 minutes to walk from one side to another. The town is nestled between the sea and the mountains, and is well known for its natural swimming pools and picturesque plaza.
After being smothered by volcanic eruptions, during 16th and 17th centuries the town has become Tenerife’s number one trading port and a shipbuilding yard. Today, Garachico is great for scuba diving and guided tours. Here, you will also be able to buy best Canarian wine, jewellery and ceramics or other treats for your loved ones.
We are sure you will have an interesting and relaxing day in this beautiful town and it’s somewhere you will remember and want to visit again. Once you’re ready to head home choose the same route to get back to Pearly Grey Ocean Club, which appears to be the fastest and most convenient.
Now sit back at The Edge and reflect on your day whilst enjoying the view and a delicious dinner.
