The Best of the Island

Loro Parque – Puerto de la Cruz
Puerto de la Cruz, a tourist town of international repute, is home to the famous Loro Parque, a world of exotic vegetation in which a wide variety of species live in harmony and which in turn offers attractions for all ages:the fabulous dolphin show, sea-lion show and the latest addition, the killer-whalesin the Orca show! The largest parrot collection in the world is to be found here, together with a range of impressive aquariums housing varied marine species. For those who do not wish to visit the park itself, Puerto de la Cruz is a town waiting to be explored. There are many places of interest, such as Lagos Martiánez, the Botanical Gardens, and the square of El Charco, San Telmo Chapel and the walk-way Colon Av are amongst many other renowned parts of the town.
