Pearly Grey Eatathon

This afternoon at Pearly Grey Ocean Club, 7 individuals of different ages and backgrounds came together united in 1 common cause, they love to eat, and fast!!
But this wasn?t just about the food, each participant had donated their entrance fee to the ?Ingane Yami Children?s Village? a charity which has been adopted by Pearly Grey and aims to raise the money to build a children?s village in the Durban area of South Africa.

So the mission for these eaters of pies, burgers, chips & the like was to see who could clear their plate first.
The menu consisted of a hot dog (no sauce), crackers, marshmallows, crisps and a peeled orange, well we didn?t want to make it easy for them!!

The contest started about 1.15pm and within 6 minutes we had a winner, David Wallace, 16 years old. Well Done David..!!!!!
?50.00 was raised from this event.
