An artist in the making

Denise Sawyer has been working on our sales team here at Pearly Grey for a few years now and was as “proud as punch” when her daughter Elise won the peace poster design competition for the Lions club representing her school (Wingate) here in the south of Tenerife.  The theme of the competition was to create a poster representing how “children know peace” and the poster was evaluated on Artistic merit, originality and expression of the theme.  Elise is 13 years old and is very happy for the opportunity to demonstrate her artistic skills for such a good cause.  Her poster has now been sent to Madrid to be judged on a national level, if she is fortunate to win that stage she will be forwarded to represent Spain in this category.

Well done Elise, we are very proud of you…….we have every faith that you will do your mum proud too!!!

Ciao for now!
